We care about the future and the Environment and have specialize training in Waste Electrical Electronic Equipment (WEEE) helping to keep our environment safe and healthy. We are here to offer advice to help with a sustainable future for all of our youths here and around the world.
Young people try to live independently without parental support often find themselves homeless. They can receive accommodation from the council or homelessness charities, but have little else to settle them into their new home and get them back on their feet.Getting into education, employment or training is vital for these young people’s future prospects. Most have to make do on £57.90 of Income Support each week, barely enough to support themselves. That’s where our name comes from Helping Young People Excel.
This money is used to cover their living expenses and the costs of pursuing an education: books, equipment, uniforms and travel costs. As a result they are often faced with difficult daily choices when prioritising their spending, sometimes whether to feed themselves or go to college. We know that a positive overall emotional and physical wellbeing are also important to their chances of success. Statutory support is rarely enough for them to meet all these needs themselves.
The package of support we offer young people contains all three elements: support for an education, employment or training goal, giving access to activities that help promote a young person’s wellbeing.
If you are fundraising, you can raise an extra 25% of the total amount when people donating confirm they are happy for us to Gift Aid their donation (providing they meet the Gift Aid credentials). If you are hosting an event, simply download the multiple Gift Aid form here and collect people's information and send it back to us so that we can claim!
We'd be delighted to work with you to build a partnership that not only supports children and young people in crisis but also brings benefits to your business or group including raising your profile, demonstrating positive values to your customers, employers and community, creating great PR opportunities, boosting staff morale and encouraging team building
